Tierra Colectiva Community Land Trust
Tierra Colectiva is a community land trust dedicated to preventing displacement in the GES neighborhoods by creating and preserving affordable housing and community-owned land. Through collective organizing, community planning, and partnerships, Tierra Colectiva works to acquire, rehabilitate, and steward land for long-term community benefit. The trust supports affordable homeownership, builds leadership among neighbors, and continues to expand housing opportunities to meet the needs of the community.
-

Triangle Land Campaign
The Triangle Campaign is a community-led effort to secure ownership of 16 acres of public land near the National Western Complex. GES Coalition is working to transform this land into affordable housing, local businesses, and open spaces — all designed to meet the needs of the community and repair the harm caused by past displacement.
-

Tenant Organizing
GES Coalition is building tenant power across Denver to fight displacement, improve housing conditions, and strengthen tenant rights. Our work supports tenant associations like Longview Mobile Home Tenants Association and the Vina Tenant Association, while also co-leading the Tenant Power Assembly — a citywide coalition advancing tenant protections at state and local levels.

Tierras Verdes Food Forest
The Tierras Verdes Food Forest at 4790 Josephine Street is GES Coalition’s first-ever community-led effort to transform a vacant lot into a vibrant green space. This project will feature fruit trees, shrubs, medicinal plants, and sitting areas, improving food access and environmental well-being for the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. In partnership with Denver Urban Gardens, Metro DNA, and other community allies, the site will be maintained by neighbors for generations to come.
